Wow, had it really been four years already? I guess, with the past few years, the team has proven it can bite with all that teething... and they've certainly proven they can walk and talk, with all the "I HATE YOU!", "NI****S!!!", "I don't wanna play this stupid game!" crap, and me acting like the parent of these whiny little brats, I guess it all makes sense with all the attitudes and racism flying around recently...

It's been a tough path to walk, leading this team through it's many trials. Some of us have pulled through, many have walked or been kicked, and of course we'll never forget the death of our sister, Jessica 'Sapphire'. When I started this team, with Steve 'Predator' and Mark 'Bullet Magnet', I was made Commander, based on my experience and continued devotion to another team, Warriors of the World. With everything I've experienced, all the mistakes I've seen other teams make, and the victories of my brothers and friends... I actually thought this would be a walk in the park, that I could just set this team up to avoid the many catastrophic problems I've seen. It wasn't like that at all...

I guess, raising your own team really is alot like raising your own child. You can't just look at what other people do, and pass judgement on what you believe is right and wrong. This isn't something, in which you can simply look at all the examples and suggestions people make, and follow such things to the letter. Everything and everyone is unique, and mistakes most often lead to success. It is a learning experience... You cannot tidy your room if there is no mess, and there can never be peace without chaos!

There have been, and always will be problems... It is a fact of life which cannot be avoided, even in the gaming world. Does that mean to raise a team, is to take gaming seriously? Not exactly... Many gamers would take the game way too seriously, as this team among others, have whitnessed. Many people would say "...for fuck sake, it's just a game!" In truth, the online side of gaming does present a side of reality. Afterall, when you're using a VOIP software, like TeamSpeak2 or Ventrilo, you're communicating with real people. When you're in a game, you're playing with and against real people. Hense, why many people get so frustrated, as opposed to finding a source of fun!

As I've said before, there has been many attitudes and racism flying over the years, particularly in recent months... not how I'd honor the momory of someone who installed the many building blocks for raising this team, and who has since become the mother who died. We have had way too many people kicked from the team over the years, many of which because of inactivity. We have also lost many good friends....

Through all of the hardships, all of the many challenges and Mark 'Startard' name changes, which can make one sick and give up, this is still my team... my creation... my baby. I am proud of the position I've held, and for what this team has become in four years! For as long as I am able, I'll remain, and WN| shall not fall. Our numbers may have deminished, and we have become small, but we never needed to be anything else!
