I went for a Dark Windows XP look, and added some images taken from Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, to reflect WN| WARRIORS NETWORK moving to that game. The appearance to the website shouldn't change much, but I do have ALOT of articles to do. Since the design computer failing, and me not having webdesign software for months, I'm looking at 20+ articles... not including things I never got round to adding before.
Updates so far;
Appearance - Finished, although there will be support for lower connection speeds, once all else is complete... Otherwise, there's no point doing it now.
Popup Feature - The button to the far top-right of page, basically creates a popout version of the website... much like what you can do with the chat box on Facebook).
Warriors - Listings have been updated... All inactive persons, besides Edward 'Bruce' and Nick 'Shadow', have been moved to the Former Warriors listings. That said, Renzo and Ionbru need to be moved back to Current Warriors, assuming they'll move to new games with us. Although, I see them having the same computer problems as what Sean is having.

Updates - There are ALOT of articles over the last several months which need to be added.
Media - Two new articles need to be added, regarding the Network Gaming Week #002. Not much I can do about this until Steve gets off his butt, and talks to me.
SITREP - Basically, this is an existing department for all match/scrim related encounters. While we haven't 'officially' had any, encounters such as what we faced in 'CoD4 - Broadcast', and personal fights with clans are now being included aswell.
Technology - I'm sure there are many articles Steve can dish out, as he's been promising... but again, I can't do anything here, until he gets off his butt and talks to me!
As before, I'm always looking into ways to make our site more Google friendly... However, I'm also looking into how I can actually make it better. Some things require me to completely redevelop the website, and therefore, isn't going to happen... atleast not anytime soon. I'm spending alot of time just making the small changes to appearance, adding 20+ articles to the website, and making necessary changes to other articles and pages of the website. I simply don't have the time for full redevelopment. |
