A couple weeks ago, I made a post in the forums, informing everyone that there will be changes made to the team. I have since spoken with Steve 'Predator', and we believe we have the solutions to all of the issues that have plagued this team for the last several months. Those solutions, and the reasons for such changes, are as follows;
Command Structure;
Steve 'Predator' and I are in agreement that this needs to be revised, for a number of reasons. Originally, the Command Structure was as follows;
Commander = Tony 'LANDWARRIOR'.
Squad Leaders (High Command) = Mark 'Starbuck', Steve 'Predator'.
Fireteam Leaders (Command) = Nick 'Shadow', Jessica 'Sapphire', Bill 'BaghdadBilly'.
It has already been explained that Jessica 'Sapphire' died a few years ago, and Bill 'BaghdadBilly' was kicked from the team. Recently, we have agreed that Mark 'Starbuck' and Nick 'Shadow' should also have their leadership privilages and responsibilities removed.
This is partially due to the lack of members, and the golden rule of running a team... The leadership cannot be overwealming! This basically means, no team should have more leaders than regular members. Also, Nick 'Shadow' is hardly ever around, due to having a demanding job. Mark 'Starbuck' simply doesn't take charge of any situation, or do anything to resolve any problems that occur. If anything, we've encountered more problems, as a result of the above. So, it also comes down to who is better able to control the team, and make it stronger!
While Mark 'Starbuck', Nick 'Shadow', Sean 'Skefferz', and Edward 'Bruce' are not leaders, that doesn't mean to say none of you have responsibilities towards the team. I've heard retarded comments, like "This team sucks" and the such... but you are the team, as much as Steve 'Predator' and myself. This means, if there is a problem with the team, there could be a problem with you, not necessarily the leaders!
If you want this team to be successful, please try being a little more considerate and open-minded. If there is a problem with the team, don't just come crying or whining to us leaders... Ask yourselves "What can I do differently to make things better?" Keep recruiting! You don't need to be a leader to do that... |
